Leighton Meester is the cover girls of Cosmopolitan UK's September issue, which is up for sale Monday. The Gossip Girl star has had a busy filming scene for the show in NYC and Paris and will be heading to LA this week for the Teen Choice Awards. She found time for a chat with the magazine for high school, beauty, song and kissing. I think this is a bunch a bull and a means to build interest because no two people banging on film is worth that kind of money. Unless, it’s Oprah and Stedman. Don’t lie; you know you’d watch it. Leighton Meester and Clemence Poesy get some puppy playtime while filming in NYC on Monday August 9.
Leighton, 24, and Clemence, 27, were shooting scenes for the upcoming season of Gossip Girl involving a group of puppies up for adoption. The girls couldn’t resist cuddling with some of their furry costars.
Leighton recently picked up a surfboard for Choice TV Actress at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards. Gossip Girl is set to return September 13th on The CW. FYI: Leighton is wearing a floral dress and black patent belt by Reem Acra and Brian Atwood shoes.(source:)

‘Gossip Girl’ star Leighton Meester is making her presence known in the fashion world and now may want to make a name for herself as a designer, but just not yet.
Meester is known for her style on ‘Gossip Girl’ and on the red carpet, but others may have the chance to wear her designs if she makes that jump, reports Hollywire. “The more I think about it the more it sounds like something I would want to do,” Meester revealed about her interest in entering the fashion industry.
However, if it is a move she makes, she’s most interested in collaborating with another designer. Unfortunately, she likes too many designers and styles that she’s finding it “difficult to hone in on just one.
