Russians Used To Build Iron Pterosaurs

This flying-sailing “monster” was built by Russians in the former USSR. At those times Russians seemed to know how to make water planes look like huge iron “pterosaurs”. I wonder how safe this tank-ship-bird must have been. See more images after the break.......

Maria Yuryevna Kirilenko aka Makiri was born on 25th Jan 1987 in Moscow. She is 5ft 8in tall Russian professional tennis player who won her first WTA Tour title in 2005, defeating Anna-Lena Groenefeld 6–3, 6–4 in the China Open. Kirilenko reached her career-high singles ranking #18, on the WTA tour in July 2008.

In recent Australian Open 2009, she was seeded 27th. She lost to Sara Errani of Italy in first round.

Ksenia Vladimirovna Sukhinova was born on August 26, 1987 in Nizhnevartovsk, Russia. She is 5ft 10in tall, blond hair with blue eyes Russian beauty queen who won the title of Miss Russia 2007 and Miss World 2008.

Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia was crowned by Miss World 2007, Zhang Zilin of the People's Republic of China.

Ksenia also won the title of Miss World Top Model.

Parvathy Omanakuttan of India became the first runner up while Gabrielle Walcott of Trinidad & Tobago became second runner up.

Anna ChakvetadzeAnna Chakvetadze was on born March 5, 1987 in Moscow, Russia. She is 5ft 7in tall professional Russian tennis player. She began playing tennis at the age of eight after being introduced to the sport by her mother, Natalia. On June 25, 2007, she reached her career-high pro singles ranking of #7 in the world.

Chakvetadze debuted on the ITF circuit in 2001 and In 2002, she won her first ITF Juniors title at Istanbul, in her doubles debut with fellow Russian Irina Kotkina.

In 2004, at her first ever Grand Slam appearance, and third WTA tournament appearance, she defeated the #3-ranked player in the world at the time, Anastasia Myskina, 7-6(3) 6-3 and reached the third round as a qualifier. With this result, she became tied for the second fastest player to defeat a world top 10 in WTA history, tying Serena Williams.

In recently concluded Cincinnati Open where she played first time and was placed as the #1 seed. She defeated Sania Mirza of India in her semifinal battle and finally defeated Akiko Morigami of Japan in the final. With this final win she extended her finals streak to 5 matches, never losing a final.
