Madhuri Dixit was born on May 15, 1967 in Mumbai, Maharshtra, India. She is a stunningly beautiful Indian actress who ruled in Bollywood as a leading actress and an accomplished dancer throughout 1980s and 1990s.
In 2008, she was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian award, by the Government of India.
Madhuri Dixit made her acting debut in Hindi cinema with Abodh in 1984 as Gauri. Her performance in Tezaab in 1998 lead her to stardom.
She received Filmfare Best Actress Award for her roles in Dil in 1990, Beta in 1992, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun in 1994, Dil to Pagal Hain in 1997
